As with Corrective Exercise Training, Pilates carries its own discipline and practice. Pilates was developed by a great man named Joseph Pilates who carried a background in dance and gymnastics. In 1925 Joseph Pilates moved to the US from England and opened his Pilates studio here in New York City where he have taught and trained some of the best dancers and movie artist of that time such as the father of ballet here in the US George Balanchine and Martha Graham who is the first dancer ever to perform at the white house as well as countless others.

  • Flow
